Change a SKU

The Product ID code of any SKU can be renamed to a new Product ID. SKUs can only be renamed if there is no order record for the SKU.
If you are changing the SKU to match the product code on a channel, you may consider keeping the current SKU and using the Merchant SKU field on each channels' product propertied page to link the SKU with the Channel.

Renaming a SKU
  1. Select the product on the Manage Inventory Page.
  2. Select the action Change Product SKU. Press GO.
  3. Enter a new SKU.
  4. Press Change SKU.
